Blake256R14

Blake256r14 is a secure and efficient hashing algorithm based on the Hash Iteration Framework (HAIFA). It aims to improve upon the traditional Merkle-Damgard structure, enhancing its resistance to cryptographic attacks through 14 rounds of compression while maintaining high performance. Its architecture supports efficient hardware implementation, making it suitable for mining rigs and security applications. Currently, only Decred, a major cryptocurrency, uses this algorithm.
